In the December 2007 issue of Fly RC, contributor Tom Hunt described retractable landing gear to Hobby Lobby's Flying Styro DH Mosquito, which provides realistic takeoffs and landings as well as the proper silhouette in the air.

His engineering drawing is available as either a PDF file or a "zipped" DXF file. We have also prepared a full size Bitmap template that you can print on legal size paper.
