The third new model in the Seagull line-up is the Douglas Skyraider. One of the last US manufactured piston engine powered warbirds to see active duty, the Skyraider’s unique ability to carry an incredible variety and amount of ordinance earned it the nickname “The FlyingDump Truck”. The Seagull Skyraider is a 63 inch wingspan model and can be powered by either gas, glow or electric power systems. The conventional balsa and plywood construction airframe includes scale features such as wing guns, drop tanks, antennae and functional navigation lights. Fixed landing gear is included, although optional electric rotating retracts are a drop-in replacement.
