Of the ten finalists who competed at this year’s F3A World Championship in South Africa, nine put their trust in Futaba systems! Team Futaba’s Andrew Jesky, Jason Shulman and Brett Wickizer brought home Team Gold for America. Team Futaba also worked wonders as individuals! Jesky took Bronze, Shulman placed 4th overall and Wickizer came in 12th! The Federation Aeronautique Internationale (the FAI) has been holding the F3A World Championship for 28 years, making it the longest-running R/C World Championship. Countries submit bids to the FAI years in advance for a chance to host this prestigious event. A total of 30 countries competed at this year’s event. Teams can have a total of four competitors, up to three adults and one junior.
Futaba and Hobbico would like to congratulate Team USA and everyone who put their trust in Futaba at the 28th F3A World Championship!
