Easy, Light Parallel Pack Connector

Here’s a handy, lightweight Y-harness design for connecting lithium polymer battery packs in parallel to increase available capacity and discharge rate (for example, two 1200mAh packs in parallel become a single 2400mAh battery with twice the discharge rate of the individual, smaller packs). This setup uses four small Deans polarized plugs and a Deans Ultra Plug. Solder the positive and negative leads to the plugs, and shrink wrap, exactly as shown (red is positive, black is negative).
