ASSEMBLY TIPS
Assembling the Gee Bee was a breeze with the magnetic installation of the horizontal stabilizer. Slide one half in and then the other half. No screws, no fuss. The elevator joins together using a square piece of carbon fiber. Attach the control rod to the horn and adjust the center using the quick connect adjustment at the servo horn.
Next I installed the wing. Two plastic dowels key into the front of the fuselage and a single nylon bolt in the back threads into the wing. Next install the propeller and scale hub to the motor shaft. Slap some Velcro on the battery and tray and you are ready-to-fly.
I took the extra step and decided to install the simulated flying wires. This was easy as the wires were made from elastic and were fed through the wing and fuselage. Each hole was lined with a plastic tube to make it easier and keep the elastic from rubbing into the foam. A tensioner is located on each flying wire allowing you to tighten or loosen the wires at any time.
