The Dremel brand is expanding its line of cordless rotary tools with the introduction of the Dremel 8220 Cordless 12VMAX High-Performance Rotary Tool. The Dremel 8220 High-Performance Rotary Tool is powerful and precise, providing users with greater control and the ability to work effectively on a broad array of materials and projects. This new addition to Dremel’s extensive line of rotary tools is designed for projects requiring high-performance attachments and premium power.
Performance
The Dremel 8220 features a high-performance motor that boosts power and is designed for demanding applications. A removable, next generation 12VMAX lithium-ion battery delivers peak performance and runs 33 percent longer when cutting screws, in comparison to the Dremel 8200. The one-hour charger provides fast charge time so that you can return to your projects quicker.
Versatility
The Dremel 8220 is compatible with all standard Dremel attachments and high-performance Dremel attachments, including the Dremel Multi-Saw and Planer for added cutting and planing applications. The Dremel 8220 is designed to drive the full range of Dremel accessories. The EZ TwistTM nose cap with an integrated wrench allows for fast accessory changes.
Ergonomics
The Dremel 8220 features a classic pencil grip nose cap that allows comfortable grasp of the tool, at a balance point close to the bit. The 360-degree grip zone with soft grip provides comfortable grip in any position, while a separate on/off switch retains speed settings for ease of use.
The Dremel 8220 Cordless 12VMAX High-Performance Rotary Tool is available in two different kits. The standard kit includes one attachment and 28 genuine Dremel accessories, one 12VMAX battery and a 1-Hour Charger, while the premium kit includes two attachments and 28 genuine Dremel accessories, two 12VMAX batteries and a 1-Hour Charger. The Dremel 8220 comes with a two-year warranty.
