MotionRC’s exclusive partnership with Freewing to bring the new FlightLineRC branding of models to market has resulted in the availability of several new 1200mm class, EPO composition warbirds. FlightLineRC’s mission statement promised a focus on both rarely modeled aircraft and the quintessentially favored mainstream and classic warbirds known and loved by many modelers. FlightLineRC’s release of the Lavochkin LA-7 and Spitfire Mk.IX makes good on both measures. Both of these warbirds feature a 1200mm wingspan, EPO foam composition construction and attractive scale aesthetics. Factory installed brushless electric power systems and scale multi-bladed props accelerate both models to speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour, with optional high performance power systems available to boost the speeds even higher. Completion of these popularly sized warbirds requires a minimum six channel radio system and 4S 4000mAh LiPo battery.
